3. OPERATION
A. Insert the adapter plug into the unit jack at the rear of the control box. Plug the adaptor into a nearby working outlet. The adapter is intended to be
correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position.
B. Turn the VOLUME / ON-OFF dial from OFF to ON. Music will start to play, Santa will begin to climb and the lights will go on.
C. Press the RESET button to hear a different song.
D. Turn the VOLUME dial to adjust the volume of music.
Note : No music can be heard at the minimum setting.
4. TROUBLESHOOTING
Your CLIMBING SANTA has been designed to provide many seasons of trouble-free operation. In the event that a problem does occur, please refer to the
following chart for suggested solutions.

Solution
No music, lights or motion
1. No power
1. Make sure the adapter is plugged into a working outlet
2. Make sure the adapter jack is securely attached to the back of the control box
2. VOLUME dial OFF
Turn VOLUME dial from OFF to ON
Music is not playing but there is motion
1. Pause between songs
Wait one or two seconds for the next song to start
2. Volume dial is at MIN
Turn volume control toward MAX position
Music is playing but figures are not
moving
1. Power is interrupted
Turn power off and then on again
2. Platform is obstructed
Turn power OFF and remove obstruction
Music is too loud, too soft, or not audible
1. Volume dial is incorrectly
adjusted
Adjust volume dial to your preference
2. Power is interrupted
1. Make sure the adapter is plugged into both the wall and the unit
2. Turn power off and then on again
Santa is having trouble climbing
White powder on the ladder
1. Ladder not positioned correctly
Make sure the ladder is on a flat surface and the climbing angle is not too steep
or too flat. Be sure to remove all branches which Santa may step on
2. Tree or branches are in the way
3. Control box is not positioned
properly or the light string is
not hanging on the hook
Santa’s hands are rubbing against
the ladder
Be sure to remove all branches from the ladder rungs which could cause Santa to
trip
See Figs.1, 10a, 10b, and 11 for proper positioning
Clean the ladder with a damp cloth
5. CARE INSTRUCTIONS
A. Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cracks in enclosure or exposed wire.
B. When storing the product, carefully remove from the current location to avoid any undue strain or stress on the conductors, connections and wires.
C. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight and heat.
D. If necessary, clean product by wiping with a soft, dry cloth.
