TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM
• Spark electrode does not produce spark.
CAUSE
REMEDY
1. Spark electrode broken. 1. Replace electrode assembly. See Service Dealer.
2. Igniter wire may not be attached to spark electrode. 2. Attach igniter wire. See Service Dealer.
3. Igniter wire damaged. 3. Replace igniter wire. See Service Dealer.
4. Ignition module is defective. 4. Replace ignition module. See Service Dealer.
SYMPTOM
• Cooker keeps shutting “OFF” during normal operation.
REMEDY
CAUSE
1. Pilot on heater has been extinguished. 1. Follow instructions to relight the heater and cooker.
REMEDY
SYMPTOM
• Spark electrode produces spark but cooker does not light.
CAUSE
1. No gas to cooker. 1. Connect cooker to heater and follow instructions in Buddy
FLEX Heater manual to provide gas to cooker.
2. “LOW/START” Position not properly aligned. 2. Adjust knob until it can be depressed for burner ignition.
