2 GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR USE
Important, please read carefully!
Do not install the software until you have carefully read the following
agreement. This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions for licensing
the software from MidJet AB to you, and installing the software indicates that
you have read this agreement and accept its terms and conditions.
2.1 License agreement
By installing the MidJet GSM Text software you agree to be bound to the
following conditions for use.
Buying a license for this software grants the licensee the unlimited right to
use this software on one IBM iSeries computer. The software itself and the
trade mark are the sole properties of MidJet AB.
You are not allowed to make any changes in the software. It is not allowed to
reverse engineer, adapt, translate, rent, sublicense, assign, lend, resell,
distribute or network the software, or to create derivative works based upon
the software or any part thereof.
The software may only be copied for backup reasons. It is the responsibility
of the customer to make sure that the software and all documentation is not
made available to other than users in the licensee’s own organisation.
2.2 Maintenance agreement
Non-mandatory maintenance fee is charged 90 days after installation. This
fee covers the following:
Free telephone support
New and updated versions of the product at no extra charge
2.3 Limited warranty
MidJet AB warrants that the software will perform substantially as described
in this manual under normal use for a period of 90 days.
The entire liability for MidJet AB is either refund of the price paid or
replacement of software or software components. MidJet AB has the option
to decide if the software should be returned or replaced.
The customer is always granted the right to return the software within 30
days after first installation, with full refund of license fee paid.
MidJet AB or its suppliers is under no circumstance responsible for any
damages including, without limitation, loss of business profits, business
interruption, loss of business information or any other pecuniary loss, by
using or by not being able to use the software.
