Command code details
Command code
This is the command code entered on the mobile when sending messages to
the iSeries. It can be 1 or 2 characters long and it can be either fully
alphabetic (A-Z), or fully numeric (0-9). If a lowercase command code is
entered on the mobile, it will be translated to uppercase before processing.
Command code description
Descriptive text of the command code.
Target system name
The system name, or *LOCAL if the target is the local system, to receive and
process the message.
Command security level
This field is used to specify what authority the user needs in order to run the
command.
0 High. The user who sent the message must exist in the MidJet GSM
Text user file. There must also be an entry for the user in the
Command Authority file.
1 Medium. The user who sent the message must exist in the user file.
2 None. No authority checking will be performed.
Verify SMS protocol
This field controls if the SMS protocol for incoming messages shall be
verified. When verification is active incoming messages will be verified to
origin from a GSM telephone or GSM module.
0 No, SMS protocol will not be verified.
1 Yes, SMS protocol will be verified.
Confirmation message
This field controls if a confirmation message should be sent to the originator.
