MidJet GSM Text Commands
All MidJet GSM Text commands are copied to library QGPL during the
installation.
A command may change the library list during execution. The library list is
reset when the command is completed.
9.11 CHGGSMTOPR
CHGGSMTOPR USID(user ID or distribution group ID) SYSN(system name,
default *LOCAL)
Purpose
This command is used to change the receiver or operational messages from
a system.
Parameters
USID
User ID or distribution group for the new receiver of operational messages.
SYSN
System name for the system that shall have the receiver changed. Default
value is *LOCAL
9.12 CRTGSMTSRV
CRTGSMTSRV RSCN(resource name)
Purpose
This command is used to create communication objects used by your
service provider for MidJet GSM Text to sign-on to your system. The IBM
service modem is normally used.
The command creates a line, a controller and devices. The configuration will
be varied on, if vary on fails an error message is sent.
A user profile is also created. It will have the ID and password GSMSRV and
have user class *PGMR.
Use the command DLTGSMTSRV when the service job is completed, to
avoid an undesired security risk exposure.
Parameters
RSCN
The resource name to be used.
9.13 DLTGSMTSRV
DLTGSMTSRV
Purpose
This command is used to vary off and remove all objects created by the
command CRTGSMTSRV.
This command has no parameters.
