8kV impulses for three times. Then the capacitors
are applied to life test.
The capacitors are placed in a circulating air oven
for a period of 1 000 h.
The air in the oven is maintained at a temperature

Throughout the test, the capacitors are subjected
to a AC425V(r.m.s.)<50/60Hz> alternating voltage
of mains frequency, except that once each hour
the voltage is increased to AC1 000V(r.m.s.) for 0.1 s.
