Selecting Multiple Tags from the Same Level
In both TYPES and MODES filter you can select multiple tags from the same level:
Hold [Shift] on your computer keyboard and click two tags at a particular level to select
these tags and all tags in-between.
Hold [Ctrl] ([Cmd] on Mac OS X) on your computer keyboard and click any number of
tags at a particular level to select these particular tags.
The Result list will include all files satisfying at least one of the selected tags.
3.2.5.1 Selecting Type and Mode Tags on the MASCHINE STUDIO Controller
On your controller in Browse mode:
Turn Knob 5–7 under the right display to select tags at the three levels of the tag filter.
Turn a Knob at full left to remove any particular selection at this level (i.e. to select all
items at this level).

When browsing Projects, Groups, Sounds or Samples, Knob 5–7 allow you to select Type
tags in the three hierarchical levels.
When browsing Instrument or Effect presets (as in the picture above), Knob 5 and 6 allow
you to select a Type and a Sub-Type, respectively; Knob 7 allows you to select a Mode.

In the Search field you can enter your search query.
