Changing the Loop Size
You can change the size of the enabled or disabled Loop:
Turn the LOOP encoder clockwise or counterclockwise.
The Loop size for the enabled Loop instantly changes by the value displayed in the Loop
Control bar.
If there is no Loop enabled, turning the LOOP encoder only selects a Loop size.
Storing a Loop as Hotcue
To store a Loop as a Hotcue:
1. Press the LOOP encoder to enable a Loop.
2. Press an unlit Pad.
The Loop is stored as Hotcue in the track. The Pad lights up green.
Triggering a Stored Loop
To trigger a stored Loop:
Press a green lit Pad.
The Loop is enabled. The playback position jumps to the stored Loop In point and playback
loops by the selected Loop size.
Moving the Loop within the Track
You can move an enabled or disabled Loop forwards or backwards within the track:
Turn the MOVE encoder clockwise or counterclockwise.
This instantly moves the Loop within the track by the selected Loop size.
Removing a stored Loop
To remove a stored Loop from the Hotcue and from the track:
Press SHIFT and press a green lit Pad.
The Loop is removed from the Hotcue and from the track. The Pad is now unlit.
7.10. Snap Mode and Quantize Mode
Snap mode and Quantize mode are important tools that can help you when you work with Cue
Points and Loops, and jump within the track:
Snap mode: When Snap mode is enabled, any Loop or Cue Point you set in a track snap to
the closest beat.
Qquantize mode: When Quantize mode is enabled, you remain in sync and on beat, whenev-
er you jump to a Loop, a Cue Point, or any position in the track.
