Rear Panel Sections
(1) MAIN OUT section: The MAIN OUT section connects to active Speakers or a main P.A.. For
more information on the connectors, refer to section ↑4.5.1, MAIN OUT Section.
(2) BOOTH OUT section: The BOOTH OUT connects to a second P.A., typically for use on stage.
For more information on the connectrors, refer to section ↑4.5.2, BOOTH OUT Section.
(3) INPUT CHANNELS A-D: The INPUT CHANNEL’s A-D connect to e.g. CD-Players or turntables.
For more information, refer to section ↑4.5.3, External INPUT Section.
(4) Ground post: When using a turntable, attach its ground lead here to avoid hum.
(5) MIC input section: MIC input section connects up to two microphones. For more informa-
tion, refer to section ↑4.5.4, MIC Input Section.
(6) Kensington Lock slot: This slot attaches a Kensington lock for protecting your device against
theft. For more information, refer to section ↑4.5.5, Kensington Lock Slot.
(7) MIDI IN/OUT connectors: The MIDI IN/OUT section connects devices for MIDI control. For
more information, refer to section ↑4.5.6, MIDI Connectors.
(8) USB connector: The USB connector connects your device to your computer. For more infor-
mation, refer to section ↑4.5.7, USB Connector.
(9) POWER section: The POWER section attaches the power supply and switches the S8 on and
off. For more information, refer to section ↑4.5.8, POWER Section.
