Do not connect the internal modem to a digital private
branch exchange connector, or the digital side of an
integrated digital network. Use only analog phone
connections. Failure to do so may result in explosion
or fire.
During thunderstorms be sure to disconnect the mo-
dem phone cable from the MobilePro H/PC. Failure to
do so may result in explosion or fire.
REMOTE ACCESS SERVICE SETUP
You can easily send and receive email messages using the
features provided by Microsoft Pocket Outlook. Using the In-
box through a Microsoft NT Server remote access service
(RAS) account you can access your corporate email account.
Other network types may be different.
Use these steps to configure your MobilePro’s internal mo-
dem after you have established a RAS account.
