Cleaning the Ash
NOTE: Dump the ash collected in ash bucket only after cooking. Make sure the kamado is cooled
down and there is no re.
Remove the cooking grate, charcoal grate
and ash bucket with the help of grippers.
Dump the charcoal.
Ash Bucket
Ash bucket collects ash in a clean and convenient way. The ash bucket can
hold 2.6 liters of ash from about 3Kg of charcoal. It has a handle for easy
removal. The middle chimney of the bucket distributes airow fast and evenly
underneath charcoal tray. The dome shape cap on top of the bucket not only
protects the chimney opening from falling ash, but also it distributes airow
around it evenly.
When the ash accumulated in th ash bucket covers the vent opening, it is mandatory to clean the
ash bucket for smooth distribution of airow.
