6. Connect the power splitter to the camera
power adapter and plug the adapter into a
surge protector or Uninterruptible Power

7. Connect the DVR power adapter to the Power
Input on the rear of the DVR.
8. Plug the DVR power adapter into a surge
protector or Uninterruptible Power Supply

NOTE: Make sure the UPS or surge
protector is switched ON.
9. Insert one end of the Wired IP Camera’s 60 ft.
Ethernet cable into the cable covers. Connect
the covered end of the Ethernet cable to the
camera’s power cable. Make sure the UPS or
surge protector is switched ON.


One of our BTD8 Series Bluetooth

systems includes both wired BNC and wired
IP cameras. If you have this model, please view the additional steps below for
connecting your wired IP cameras.
IMPORTANT: These steps ONLY apply to BTD8 Series 



10. Input the other end of the Wired IP Camera’s
60 ft. Ethernet cable into an open Ethernet

