6 After finishing work
6.1 Switching the vacuum
cleaner off and storage
1. After picking up hazardous
dust, vacuum clean the out-
side of the cleaner.
2. Switch off the cleaner and
pull the mains plug out of
the socket.
3. Wind up the power cord
onto the handle (A). Be-
gin winding up the cord at
the cleaner end and not the
plug end to prevent the pow-
er cord from tangling up.
4. Empty the dirt tank and
clean the vacuum cleaner.
5. After picking up liquids:
Store the upper section of
the vacuum cleaner sepa-
rately so that the filter ele-
ment can dry.
6. Hang the suction hose with
the floor nozzle (B) in the
brackets and pack the ac-
cessories (C) away.
7. Store the cleaner in a dry
room where it is protected
from unauthorized use.
