1 Introduction Congratulations on your purchase of the NORAC UC4.5 Spray Height Control System. This system is manufactured with top quality components and is engineered using the latest technology to provide operating reliability unmatched for years to come. When properly used the system can provide protection from sprayer boom damage, improve sprayer efficiency, and ensure chemicals are applied correctly. Please take the time to read this manual completely before attempting to install the system.
3 Control Panel Installation Install the UC4.5 Control Panel (E01) in the cab of the sprayer with the supplied mounting bracket. The location must facilitate connecting the power cable (C10) to the back of the UC4.5 Control Panel. Using Item M16 together with the adjustable RAM mount on the control panel (E01), mount panel to the HARDI controller bracket. 4 Cable Installation Figure 1: Cable Connections 1. Connect C10 to the UC4.5 Control Panel in the sprayer cab.
5 Headland Mode Combined with Spray Signal (DAH09 only) If this system is using the DAH09 interface and the Norac 44658-78 interface cable a feature is available to automatically raise and lower the boom on headland turns as the spray is switched on and off. Two styles of control are available- one which will raise the entire boom (AutoSlant or AutoHeight), or another mode which will raise only the wings (AutoHeight only).
