DS-30, DS-40 & DS-50
The stunning Olympus DS-30, DS-40 and DS-50 are sleek,
stylish and housed in cool metal. Designed in conjunction
with the RNIB, they are easy to navigate, have tactile buttons
and feature optional Voice Guidance. They’re ideal for
business people on the move, meetings, conferences,
interviews or just relaxing with great music or a good audio
book. In addition to recording and playing WMA fi les, the
range enables you to listen to MP3 and AA (Audible content)
fi les. You can download and play back music, podcasts,
online lectures or audio books via a USB 2.0 cable.
DS-2300
Finished in elegant brushed silver, the slim Olympus
DS-2300 hangs onto your every word and lets you
capture important notes, meetings and seminars in style.
Professional one-touch operation puts you in control and
allows recordings and adjustments to be made with incredible
ease. The DS-2300 has xD-Picture Card removable memory
so it has a virtually unlimited storage capacity. Added to its
versatility, it features DSS and comes with the DSS Player
Software to enhance all aspects of fi le management.
DSS – Digital Speech Standard
Digital Speech Standard (.dss) is a recording standard
that has been developed jointly between Olympus,
Grundig and Philips for excellent sound reproduction.
Since 1994, DSS has become the compatibility standard
for digital audio fi les. DSS reduces both the fi le size and
transfer volume for speech recordings. In turn, this results
in easier handling of voice fi les allowing multiple dictations
to be recorded onto one device, high speed transfer
of fi les by email and less requirement for memory.
For professional use, nothing matches DSS for standardised
and foolproof storage and transfer of speech fi les.

AS-2300
Working hand in hand with the DS-2300 is the AS-2300
transcription kit. It allows easy transfer from the voice
recorder, via DSS format, to the secretary’s offi ce. It is
supplied with a headset and foot switch and can process
data received via email. Data can be labelled according to
importance or priority and fi les can be viewed at any time.
DSS Player Software
DSS Player Software is the perfect tool for downloading
and organising the playback of voice fi les on a computer.
An upgrade to DSS Player Plus version will offer the
opportunity to integrate voice recognition software and
is available to download online.

The WS range of digital voice recorders offers
a stylish, ultra compact and effective solution
