Switching between displays
Switching between shooting using live view and shooting using the
viewfi nder
With this camera, you can select between two shooting methods: Shooting using the
viewfi nder and shooting using live view with the monitor. Press the
u
button to switch
between shooting methods.

When setting shooting
functions, if you press the
Q button, a cursor will
appear on the LV super
control panel. Touch the
function you want to set.
 Viewfi nder
Turns on automatically
when you bring it to your
eye.
When the viewfi nder is lit
up, the monitor turns off.

Super control panel
If the display in the viewfi nder looks blurry
Look through the viewfi nder and rotate the diopter
adjustment dial until the display is in sharp focus.

• Press the INFO button to choose the information displayed in the monitor. (P. 21)
• The viewfi nder will not turn on when the monitor is tilted.
