On kyo USA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as On kyo) hereby warrants all On kyo brand products PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM
On kyo OR FROM AN INDEPENDENT On kyo AUTHORIZED DEALER IN CANADA,
in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

From the date of original cons umer purchase and for the respective periods specified above, On kyo agrees to repair, at its sole expense, all On kyo brand
products purchased directly
from On kyo or fr om an Independent On kyo Authorized Dealer in Canada, which are defective in material and/o r wo rkmanship
during ordinary consumer use. Repairs may be completed using new or refurbished parts that meet or exceed On kyo specifications for new parts. On kyo, at
its sole discretion, may replace a product , with a refurbished or reconditioned unit having comparable features.
EXCLUSIONS:
IF YOU PURCHASE AN On kyo BRAND PRODUCT FROM AN UNAUTHORIZED DEALER, YOUR Onkyo WARRANTY MAY NOT BE VALID,
please use our authorized dealer locator.
This Warranty does not apply with respect to or cover the following:
1. Defects or damage caused by accident, fire/smoke, flood/water damage, power surge (or related electri ca l abnormaliti es ), lightnin g or other acts of nature.
2. Defects or damage caused by abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, unauthorized produ ct modi fication or service, or failure to observe the ins tructions
contained in the manual furnished at the time of original purchase.
3. Deterioration/failure due to corrosive atmosphere, including but not limited to; smoke, high humidity or extreme temperature.
4. Damage caused during shipment or handling.
5. Products purchased from anyone other than On kyo or an Independent On kyo Authorized Dealer. If you are uncertain as to whether a dealer is aut h or ized,
pl ease contact On kyo's Customer Relations Department or check the Dealer and Service Locator.
6. Products that have had their serial numbers a lt ered or removed.
7. Products purchased in "AS IS" cond iti on or noted as "DEMO'; "DISPLAY'; "OPEN BOX'; or " CLEARANCE".
8. Products that have been altered or repa ir ed by a ny one othe r than On kyo or an On kyo aut horized ind ependent service stat ion in a m anne r tha t h as affected
th eir pe rf o rm ance, stability or reliability.
9. Accessories attached to or to be used with On kyo brand products , such as antennas, batteries, cables, etc.
10. Any
product attached to or used with the On kyo brand product.
11. Packing materials and cosmetic items.
12.
Parts
which have prescribed u se ful lives de pe nd ent upon the degree of their use, such as styli, cassette heads, idler wheels, batteries, etc.
13.
Install
at ion a nd removal of On kyo brand products, setup, adjustments or signal reception issues.
14. Ma
int enance, cleaning or periodic check-ups.
15. Adjustments
or alterations required for compatibility with co nditions pertaining to foreign countries.
16. L
oss of, da mage to or corruption of stored program or data.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE:
To obtain warranty service, take or ship your On kyo brand product to an On kyo Authorized Independent Service Center, toge ther with a note describing your
comp laint and your orig inal dated purchase receipt. Repairs are not per formed at our headquar ter s; all repairs must be per fo rm ed by our On kyo Authorized
Independent Service Centers. For a list of On kyo Authorized I ndependent Service Centers please go to; www.onkyo.ca , und e r, Support. Please also include in
any mailing; a
contact nam e, address and email address or telephone numb e r. If you choose to s hip your On kyo brand prod uct to an Onkyo Au tho rized
Ind ependent Service Center, all s hipping a rrangement s mu st be mad e by you and all s hip ping charges a nd ins ur ance mu st be fully prepaid. Any On kyo brand
product shipped must be prop erly packaged to avoid s hipping da mag e. Any damage incurred as a r es ult of imp r oper or ins uffi cient packaging will be th e
respons
ibility of th e customer or th e shipper. On kyo will pay all return sh ippin g charges for On kyo brand product s that have been serviced und er this warranty.
Any
se rv ice or repa ir for items not covered by this limit ed warranty shall be at the Authorized I ndependent Service Center's rates and term s then in effect.

LIMITATIONS:
On kyo makes this warranty subject to the following limit a tions:
1. This limit ed Warranty is valid only within Ca nada. To be covered by th is warranty the On k yo brand product concerned must have been pur chased directly
from On kyo or an Ind epe nd ent On kyo Authorized Dealer in Canada and the person seeking warranty service must re side in Canada. This warranty extends
only to the orig inal retail purch ase r meeting the above requirements and cannot be tran sferred to anyone.
2. On kyo SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHAT SO EVER FOR SPEC I AL. IN CIDENTAL OR CONSEQUEN TIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY E XP RES S, D EE MED OR
IMPLI ED WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR FOR LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR CORRUP TI ON OF ANY PROG RAM OR DATA STO RED IN OR US ED WITH T HE PRODUCT.
THE RE S PON SIBILITY OF On kyo UNDER THI S WARRANTY IS AND SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR RE PLA CEMENT OF DEFE C TIVE On kyo PR ODUCTS BY
On kyo OR IT S AUTHORIZED INDEPENDENT SERVI CE C ENTERS.
3. This warranty is valid only with respect to repairs made by On kyo or an On kyo authorized indep en dent se rvice center.
4. EXCEPTTO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED COND ITI ON OR WARRANTY OF MERCHANTA BILITY OR FITNESS FO R A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE , OR DEEMED COND ITI ON OR WARRANTY UNDER APPLICABLE CONSUMER LAW, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD
SE T FORTH ABOVE .
