INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER .

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)
1.Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove old
fixture from ceiling, including the old crossbar.
2.Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay all the parts on
a clear surface.
3.Thread fixture loop (K) to fixture body (L), then secure with
the fixture loop (K).
4.Spread fixture arms to an equal distance apart.
5.Feed fixture wires up through every other link on chain
(J) then through screw collar loop (G) and nipple (E). Slip collar
ring (H) over the chain (J), then do the same with the collar loop
(G) and canopy (F).
6.Thread screw collar ring (H) onto collar loop (G), then
place canopy (F) over top of collar loop (G)
7.Open the chain links (I), connect it to collar loop (G) chain
(J) and fixture loop (K), then close the chain links (I).
8.Attach the crossbar (A) to the junction box using screws
(B). The side of the crossbar marked “GND” must face out.
9.Thread hex nut (D) onto nipple (E) and insert lock washer
(C), then thread nipple (E) onto crossbar (A) and secure with
hex nut (D),
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig.2)
1.Take the black wire from the ceiling junction box and the
smooth wire leg from the fixture and twist bare ends together.
Twist wire connector onto end of wire until snug.
2.Repeat same process with white junction box wire and
ribbed wire leg of fixture wire. NOTE: Twist wires together in
the same direction you twist the wire connector onto wires.
3.If your junction box has a grounding wire (green or bare
copper), attach this wire and the bare copper wire from the
fixture together as step 1. If junction box has no ground wire,
attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw
on the mounting plate
4.Tuck these wire connections neatly into the ceiling junction
box and then raise the canopy (F) all the way to the ceiling;
then raise the collar loop (G) and thread into ceiling loop
protruding through canopy.
5.Install light bulbs (N) into the socket (M).(Bulbs not included,
Please do not exceed the maximum capacity recommended
on the socket.)

installation purposes only. It may or may not be
identical to the fixture purchased.
