g When connecting the external unit in order to
input video and audio signals from the
external unit, the unit shall be connected to
the output connectors on the external unit.
g When connecting an external unit in order to
output video and audio signal to the external
unit, connect it to the input connectors on the
external unit.
• When video signals are input to both the S-
VIDEO IN/OUT connector and VIDEO IN/OUT
jack, signals of the S-VIDEO IN/OUT connector
take precedence.
• Except when performing audio dubbing on
existing recordings, audio signals cannot be
recorded unless video signals are input to the S-
VIDEO IN/OUT connector and/or VIDEO IN/OUT
jack.
