Depending on the scene that is automatically identified, it may be possible to select from
among a number of different image effects (filters) automatically recommended by the
camera, with reference to example images. (Only available when [Recommended Filter]
on the recording menu is set to [ON]. At the time of purchase, this setting is [ON].)
Touch the [ ], which is automatically displayed
after automatic detection.
• The selection screen for camera-recommended effects is
displayed.
Select an image effect (filters) with reference to
the example images, and touch.
• The image effect of the selected example image will be applied
in a preview display

• The image effect can be switched by touching [ ]/[ ].
Touch [Set].
• The Creative Control Mode for the selected image effect is set.

•
Touch [Switch] to switch between displaying 2 or 3 example images
on the screen for selecting image effects.
• [ ] is displayed on the recording screen. Touch to return to
Intelligent Auto ( or ) Mode.
• When using a recommended filter, you cannot use menus or
recording functions not available in Intelligent Auto ( or )
Mode, or menus or recording function not available in Creative
Control Mode.
For example, when you use the recommended filter, recording with
flash is not available.
