Compensating the Exposure
Use this function when you cannot achieve appropriate exposure due to the difference in
brightness between the subject and the background. Look at the following examples.
•
Select [0] to return to the original exposure.
• Rotate the control dial to display the [Expo.Meter]. (P155) (However, it does not appear
in Mode.)
Note
•
The set exposure value is memorized even if the camera is turned off.
• The compensation range of the exposure will be limited depending on the brightness of the
subject.
• When numerical values for aperture and shutter speed are displayed in Program AE Mode,
each press of the cursor button 3 switches between Program Shift (P46) and Exposure
Compensation.
• In Aperture-Priority AE Mode, each press of the cursor button 3 switches between Aperture
Setting (P108) and Exposure Compensation.
• In Shutter-Priority AE Mode, each press of the cursor button 3 switches between Shutter
Speed Setting (P109) and Exposure Compensation.
Press 3 (È) to switch to Exposure
Compensation operation.
