Printer Section
Quality Tab
1. Graphics Mode
Vector
Treat line information as graphic data.
Raster
Treat all information as Bitmap data.
2. Halftone
Select Normal/Fine/Coarse.
3. Resolution
Select the print resolution (300 dpi / 600 dpi / 1200dpi Enhanced). (See Note 1)
4. Density (For DP-180/190 only)
Defines the darkness of the dots printed on the paper.
5. Toner Save (For DP-180/190/2330/3030/3530/4530/6030 only)
This function is only available if Graphics Mode is set to "Raster". It will print using less toner, thus, saving
toner consumption when you are printing many drafts prior to printing the final document.
6. Print Fine Patterns (For DP-2330/3030/3530/4530/6030 only)
Change this option if you are getting unexpected result with print files and patterns. If this option is set to
ON, it may cause differences between on-screen appearance and printed output.
7. button
Displays the copyright, the version of the printer driver files.
8. button
Click to restore all items in this window to the default settings.
NOTE
1. dpi (dots per inch) represents the number of dots contained in one inch. The larger the value,
the higher the resolution.
