Installation Instructions

CONCRETE BASE ASSEMBLY:
Note: The depth of this base will depend on local soil conditions and winter frost depth. The concrete base should be a minimum of 14 3/16’’
(36 cm) in diameter in order to hold the anchor bolts and the triangle plate. Make sure that you have installed the conduit (not included and usu-
ally required by local code) before pouring the concrete and allowed 48” (122 cm) of the elctrical cable to run through to the street light base.
4.1 Take the 3 anchor bolts and screw a nut up to the end of the threaded section. Insert the top of the anchor bolts into the plates to make a
triangle and secure with a second nut. There needs to be 1.85” (47mm) of anchor bolt above the triangle.
4.2 Mix and pour the concrete into the base until it reaches the top.
4.3 Push the assembly into the concrete until the top of the triangle is flush with the concrete top. Gently tap the side of the base to
make sure the anchor bolts are fully surrounded by the concrete.
