MOUNTING OPTIONS Dual Mounting Options Downrod Mount Angled Ceiling Mount (Up to 16 degrees) Choose one of the following mounting options: Downrod Mount is best suited for ceilings 8 ft. or higher. For taller ceilings you may want to use a longer downrod (not included). Angled Ceiling Mount is best suited for angled or vaulted ceilings.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ ALL SAFETY INFORMATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN INSTALLING THE FAN AND SAVE INSTRUCTIONS. CAUTION: All set screws of the fan must be checked and retightened where necessary before installation. To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade brackets when installing the brackets, balancing the blades or cleaning fan. Do not insert foreign objects in between rotating fan blades.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1.Turn OFF the electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker. DANGER: Failure to disconnect the power supply prior to installation may result in serious injury or death. 1 Mounting Bracket Screw 2 2. Loosen all four mounting brackets screws, then completely remove the two mounting bracket screws from the round holes of canopy. Set aside screws for later use.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 5. Feed the wires coming from the yoke through the yoke cover, canopy and downrod. Downrod 5 Canopy Yoke Cover Yoke 6. Insert the downrod into the yoke in the top of the motor assembly and reinstall the downrod pin and downrod clip. Then retighten the two set screws. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Mounting Bracket Screw Round Hole Canopy J-shaped Slot 9 Blade Screw Blade Washer Blade 10 9. Raise the canopy, ensuring the two mounting bracket screws are aligned with the J-shaped slots in the canopy. Then turn the canopy clockwise until the mounting bracket screws are completely engaged in the J-shaped slots. Install the two previously removed mounting bracket screws in the round holes. Securely tighten all four mounting bracket screws. 10.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Light Pan 9-pin Connector 13 Light Pan Screw 13. Remove one and loosen the other two light pan screws from the light pan. Connect the 9-pin connector from the motor assembly to the 9-pin connector from the light kit. Then, raise the light kit. Align the keyholes with the remaining two light pan screws. Lift and rotate the light kit clockwise and re-install the previously removed light pan screw. Tighten all three light pan screws. Light Kit 14.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 17. Attach pull chain extensions to the pull chains. Note: The light chain extends from the center hole in the finial and the fan pull chain extends from the off-center hole. 17 Fan Pull Chain Light Pull Chain 18. Restore the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker and the wall switch. 18 Assembly is complete.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Fan Pull Chain Light Pull Chain 1 Light Kit 2 Reverse Switch 1. The fan pull chain extends from the off-center hole in the finial cap. It has four positions to control fan speed. One pull is HIGH, two is MEDIUM, three is LOW and four turns the fan OFF. The light pull chain is located in the center of the finial. It turns the light ON and OFF. 2. The reverse switch is located on the light kit.
TROUBLESHOOTING If you have difficulty operating your new ceiling fan, it may be the result of incorrect assembly, installation or wiring.
