CLEANING AND CARE GUIDE
Faucets, Bathroom Accessories and Other Metal Finishes
Be sure to gently blot any water from the faucet’s surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the
surface can lead to a buildup of mineral deposits.
To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth.
To remove hard water stains, use a solution of 50/50 white vinegar and water.
If necessary, you may use the following general purpose cleaning products:
Formula 409 Antibacterial
Fantastik Antibacterial
Windex (Original)
Lysol Bathroom Cleaner
Other gentle all-purpose or multi-surface cleaners may also be used according to the manufacturers’
instructions:
Avoid the following, which can cause damage to your nish:
Industrial and abrasive cleaners
Scotch-Brite sponges
Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, Lysol Tub and Tile Cleaner, and Soft Scrub
Any products that claim they remove tarnish and rust
Any products that contain acids or other caustic ingredients
Bleach-based cleaners
Do not use any toilet bowl cleaners on any metal nishes.
Acrylic Bathtubs
Acrylic tubs are very easy to clean and most dirt will simply wash off with clean water. We
recommend using mild liquid dish washing soap such as Joy or Palmolive with a soft cloth or
sponge. Never, under any circumstances, clean your plumbing xtures with an abrasive cleaner or
applicator, such as Scrubbing Bubbles, Comet or Scotch-Brite Pads.
Do not allow the tub surface to come into contact with products such as acetone (nail polish
remover), dry cleaning solution, paint remover or any type thinner. Use of these or any other harsh
chemicals will destroy the acrylic and/or nish and will void your warranty.
