Stainless Steel and Fireclay Sinks
Stainless steel sinks are durable, but they do benet from proper care. If you want your sink to
always look its best, we recommend the following:
• Clean using a non-abrasive, mild detergent such as Joy or Palmolive
• Use only a sponge or soft cloth for cleaning
• Avoid cleaning the sink using steel wool or green Scotch-Brite pads.
• Avoid products containing bleach, acids or caustic ingredients for cleaning anything in the sink.
• Remove any cast iron or steel pans promptly after cleaning
• Keep the sink clean, dry and empty when not in use
• Don’t leave sponges, and other wet items in the sink
• If you want to avoid water spots, wipe your sink dry after each use
• For grey scuff marks caused by aluminum pots on reclay sinks, we suggest the use of Flitz
brand polishing compound.
Porcelain Bathroom Sinks
• Clean using a non-abrasive, mild detergent
• Use only a sponge or soft cloth for cleaning
If necessary, you may use the following general purpose cleaning products:
• Formula 409 Antibacterial
• Fantastik Antibacterial
• Windex (Original)
• Lysol Bathroom Cleaner
Toilets
While selecting products and procedures to clean your toilet, we recommend the following to avoid
component or nish damage:
• Clean using a non-abrasive, disinfecting cleaner for the outside of the toilet.
• NEVER use any chemicals or cleaners inside the tank. It can damage the internal components
and cause leaking and ooding.
• If using a cleaning product containing bleach, DO NOT allow to come in contact stainless steel
braided water supply hoses.
• Do not allow the toilet seat or cover to come into contact with products such as acetone (nail
polish remover), dry cleaning solution, paint remover or any type thinner. Use of these or any
other harsh chemicals will destroy the nish.
• Toilet bowl cleaner may be used, but only to clean within the bowl. Do not use outside the bowl.
Do not use any toilet bowl cleaners on or near any metal nishes
