Adding/Editing Routes
From the Route List tab, if you click the Add or Edit button, you will be able to add a new or edit an
existing route.
Configure the appropriate parameters:
Type Specify the type of route you want to configure.
Data Options:
z Host—A route defined for accessing a specific host external to your local
network.
z Network—A route defined for accessing a specific network external to
your local network.
z Default—A route which provides general access beyond your local
network.
Default: Default
IP Address When the route Type is defined as Host, this field will contain the IP address of
the host. If the route
Type is defined as Network, the network portion of the IP
address must be specified and the Host port of the address will be set to 0.
Example: to access network 10.10.20, the address 10.10.20.0 would be
specified in this field.
Format: IPv4 or IPv6 address
IPv4 Subnet Mask When the route is a Network route, you must specify the network’s subnet
mask.
IPv6 Prefix Bits If the IP address is IPv6, then you must specify the networks prefix bits.
Range: 0-128
Host Select this option when a host is being used at the route gateway.
Default: Enabled, None
