Steam dispensing will begin when the green light shines steadily.

Turn the control dial to the position to stop dispensing steam.

Fill 1/3 of a carafe with cold milk.
Note:
Use cold (~5°C / 41°F) milk with a protein content of at least 3% to ensure
optimum results when preparing a cappuccino. You can use whole milk or
low-fat milk depending on your personal taste.

Immerse the hot water/steam wand (Pannarello, if supplied) in the milk
to be heated and turn the control dial to the
position. Froth the
milk by gently swirling the container and moving it up and down.
