If, however, you wish to record over this side or a tape with open tabs, cover the tabs with a piece of adhesive tape. VOICE ACT (ACTivation) VOICE ACT is a sound level sensor system which enables you to record only when the microphone receives sound at the preset level. The VOLUME wheel acts as the control for the microphone sensor.
