Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible Solution
• No power.
Make sure the Plasma Display and the Media Receiver are connected correctly.
(See page 7.)
• Check if you pressed (!) on the remote control unit. (See page 13.)
If the indioator on the Plasma Display lights up red, press 0-9.
Is the power cord disconnected? (See page 12.)
Has the main power been turned on? (See page 13.)
• Unit cannot be operated.
External influences such as lightning, static electricity, etc., may cause improper
operation. In this oase, operate the unit after first turning the power of the Plasma
Display and the Media Receiver, or unplugging the power cord and re-plugging
it in after 1 or 2 minutes.
• Remote control unit does not
operate.
Are batteries inserted with polarity { +, - ) aligned? (See page 8.)
• Are batteries worn out? (Replace with new batteries.)
• Are you using it under strong or fluoresoent lighting?
Is a fluorescent light illuminated to remote control sensor?
• Picture is cut off.
Is the image position correot? (See pages 22 and 48.)
• Are screen mode adjustments suoh as picture size made correctly? (See pages
51 and 52.)
• Strange oolour, light colour, or
dark, or oolour misalignment.
Adjust the picture tone. (See pages 32 to 34.)
Is the room too bright? The picture may look dark in a room that is too bright.
• Check the colour system setting. (See page 27 and 50.)
• Check the input signal setting. (See page 49.)
• Power is suddenly turned off.
The unit’s internal temperature has increased.
Remove any objeots blocking vent or clean. (See page 6.)
• Check the power control setting. (See pages 36 and 37.)
• Check the sleep timer setting. (See page 53.)
• No picture.
Is connection to other components correct? (See pages 38 to 44.)
Has setup been done correotly after oonnection? (See page 49.)

• The internal temperature of the Plasma Display is
abnormally high. Check the location the System is
installed. (See page 6.)

operation of the Plasma Display
• Turn off the power once and turn it on again. (See page
13.)

where this unit was purchased.
