Changing the Video options
There are a number of additional picture settings
you can make using the Video Parameter menu.
Operating the Video
Parameter screen
1 Press VIDEO P. to display the Video Parameter
screen.
2 Use / to select the setting you want to
adjust, then press ENTER.
3 Use / to set as necessary, then press
ENTER.
Closing the Video Parameter

Press VIDEO P. or RETURN.
Note
It is not possible to open the Video Parameter screen when any of the Home Menu (Source, Initial
Setup), Audio Parameter, Function Menu, or Disc Menu is being displayed.
Video Parameter settings have no effect during Dolby Vision output.
The Video Parameter option is not effective when the HDMI Mode is set to Pure Audio.
During playback of 4K content, no effect is produced by the DNR setting.
In Options, the factory default settings are indicated in bold.
Setting Options Explanation
Memory Memory 1 Your preferred settings can be stored in Memory1, Memory2 or
Memory3 to use the settings of the Video Parameter function
according to the disc or type of connected video device.

TV Types Reference Images are output with the screen quality appropriate for the selected
type of video device.
Reference is a setting to suppress video signal processing. Select this
when viewing video with the original material unchanged.

Brightness -10 - 0 - 10 Select this to adjust the TV screen brightness.
Contrast -10 - 0 - 10 Select this to adjust the TV screen contrast.
Hue -10 - 0 - 10 Select this to adjust the color (green and red) balance of the TV
screen.
Chroma Level -10 - 0 - 10 Adjusts the density of the colors.
Sharpness 0 - 16 Adjusts the sharpness of the images.
DNR 0 - 3 Reduces the noise.
HDR-SDR Adj. 100 - 300 - 700 Use this item to perform the HDR-SDR conversion according to the
connected video device. This adjusts the connected video device to
the maximum brightness value.
