Basic Operation Manual SCR IMPORTANT NOTICE This manual describes basic operation for the Dynamic DX Specialty Controls Remote (SCR) only and must be read in conjunction with the owners manual supplied with your power chair. Please read both manuals in their entirety before operating the SCR or your power chair. This manual is intended as a supplement to the in-service training provided by your authorized provider.

Basic Operation Manual SCR INTRODUCTION Welcome to Quantum Rehab, a Division of Pride Mobility Products Corporation. Quantum Rehab is dedicated to the customization of power chairs for users with advanced rehabilitation and mobility issues. Quantum Rehab also expands possibilities for enhanced healthcare attendant control over power chair functions to provide a secondary level of support for our customers where necessary.
SCR Basic Operation Manual 5 Figure 1 provides information on the SCR components and connections. Use this diagram to familiarize yourself with the function and location of each component before using the SCR. Reverse Indicator LCD Display Disregard - this is a nonfunctioning feature. 4-line, 20 character backlit LCD which shows all functions and instructions. Battery Meter Battery charge level is indicated by a set of six LEDs. Mode Switch Cycles through the programmed modes.
Basic Operation Manual SCR SCR CONTROLS The SCR has only two built-in controls: the On/Off Switch and the Mode Switch (see figure 1). The On/Off Switch simply controls power to the SCR. The Mode Switch cycles the SCR through eight possible program modes. Only five of the eight possible program modes are used in the Standard Mode Configuration. All five program modes are Drive Modes (see Standard Mode Configuration).
SCR Basic Operation Manual 7 TIMEOUT FUNCTION The timeout function is a safety feature in the nature of an automatic sleep mode. When the SCR is powered up, the user has ten seconds to begin driving the power chair. If the user begins driving the power chair within ten seconds of power up, the timeout function is suspended until the unit is stationary again.
