Congratulations on selecting your new I35 Prisma Integrated Amplifier This user guide describes the features and explains how to set up the amplifier for the best sound quality and ease of operation in order to allow for the most enjoyable reproduction of sound from all your sources. Getting S tarted 1 Unpack the I35 2 Connect speakers 3 Connect inputs Your I35 is supplied with: The I35 is designed to be connected directly to a pair of loudspeakers. You can connect up to two balanced sources, up to three unbalanced sources, and up to six digital sources to the inputs on the back panel.
4 Connect the antennae 6 Connect to a network l Connect the two antennae supplied with the I35 to the ANT 1 and ANT 2 sockets on the back panel, and position the two antennae at a slight angle from the vertical. For best results we recommend connecting via cable. One antenna is for Bluetooth connectivity, and the other one is for Wi-Fi connectivity. l Plug one end of the mains cable supplied with the I35 into the power connector on the back panel, and connect the other end to a wall socket.

U sing the remote control Selecting I35 mode The remote control can operate any associated Primare products you have in your system. To make the remote control operate the I35 l Press the AMP AV button once. To make the remote control operate another product Press briefly to mute the sound Indicators light when pressing a button Top: AMP, PRE, or CD mode Bottom: AV, SC, or AUX mode l Press the AMP AV, CD SC, or PRE AUX button as appropriate.
U sing the I 3 5 Front panel controls Selecting a source Changing the display brightness Selector The I35 provides a choice of 12 inputs. Initially these are labelled as shown in the following table, but you can give them your own aliases to suit the sources in your system; see ALIAS, page 15. To change the front panel display brightness Selects an input. In the settings menus navigates between settings. Standby O Switches the I35 to standby, or switches it on from standby.

P laying music from a drive or music server Music server Router Hard drive Loudspeakers I35 You can play audio files from a USB flash drive, external USB hard disk, or a network drive. These options are ideal if you already have a digital library of CDs or music files. On a USB flash drive or USB hard disk the files can be organised into folders, giving you one way of classifying your music; eg by Artist.
S treaming music from a phone, tablet, or PC PC/Mac Router Ethernet cable Internet music services Loudspeakers I35 The I35 can use Chromecast to connect directly to a music service that supports Chromecast, such as Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, or TuneIn Radio. The music is streamed direct to the I35; once set up you can use your phone to make calls, or play other audio.
C onfiguring the settings Using the settings menus INPUT SETTINGS You can view and change the I35 settings from the front panel, remote control, or using the Prisma app. The INPUT SETTINGS menu allows you to customise the inputs to suit the sources in your system: To display the settings menu A1 SETTINGS 20 l Press the @ button on the front panel, or the MENU button on the remote control.
AUDIO SETTINGS GENERAL SETTINGS The AUDIO SETTINGS menu allows you to customise the balance and start-up volume, and the maximum and mute volume. The GENERAL SETTINGS menu allows you to configure the general operation of the I35: AUDIO SETTINGS 20 BALANCE STARTUP VOLUME MAXIMUM VOLUME 00LR00 30 99 BALANCE Allows you to adjust the balance between 00LR-9 (far left), 00LR00 (centred, default) and -9LR00 (far right). STARTUP VOLUME Sets the general startup volume to between 0 and 60. The default is 20.
STREAMING SETTINGS NETWORK SETTINGS Allows you to configure the I35 streaming: Allows you to configure the network connection: STREAMING SETTINGS 20 NETWORK SETTINGS 20 METADATA BLUETOOTH SETTINGS AIRPLAY PASSWORD QUICK INFO ON METADATA QUICK INFO BLUETOOTH SETTINGS l Connection: one of CONNECTED BY WIFI, CONNECTED BY CABLE, or NOT CONNECTED. Allows you to choose ON (default) or OFF to specify whether metadata, such as the artist name and song title, should be displayed.

Additional information These instructions help you get the best possible sound from your I35. Phase The phase of the AC supply can make a significant difference to the sound. Use the Polarity Pen supplied with the I35 to verify which pin is live on your AC power cable.
