It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to
avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

General Notes
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the
appliance into operation and keep the instructions including
the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the in-
ternal packing. If you pass the appliance on to a third party,
always include all the relevant documents.
The appliance is intended for private use only and not for
commercial use.
Only use the appliance for its intended purpose.
Do not operate a damaged appliance.
Keep it away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture (never
immerse it in liquids) and sharp edges.
Do not apply pressure to the appliance or drop it. This
could damage the sensitive electronics.
The kitchen scale is designed for a maximum weight of
up to 5 kg (11.0 lb).
Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact
an authorized technician.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all
packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of
their reach.
WARNING:
Do not allow small children to play with the plastic foil.
There is a danger of suffocation!
Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, lling
material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the appliance for possible transport damage to
avoid hazards. Do not operate a damaged appliance.
Return it to the dealer immediately.
Notes for Use
The kitchen scale is designed to display the weight of food
and ingredients.

Using the Appliance
Switching On
1. Place the kitchen scale on a at, smooth surface.
2. Turn the control until the battery symbol
displays fully
charged (approx. 2 turns). All segments are briey shown
in the display.
Select Unit of Measurement
This kitchen scale measures in both mass units
(g / oz / lb:oz) and volume units (ml).
Milk and water have different weights if they have the same
number of millilitres. Therefore, you can display milk and
water separately on this scale.
