2. While anotherpersonliftsthe back of the Frame(1),
attach the Rear Stabilizer (9) to the Frame withtwo
M10 x 75mm Carriage Bolts(34) and two M10 Nylon
Locknuts (33).
3. The Console(23) requiresthree "AA"batteries(not
included);alkaline batteriesare recommended.Insert
three batteriesintothe batterycompartment.Make
sure that the batteries are oriented as shown by
the diagram Inside the battery compartment.
4. While anotherperson holdsthe Console(23) in the
positionshown,insertthe control cable and the con-
sole wiredown throughthe Upright(2). Attachthe
groundwire tothe Uprightwith an M4 x 16ramSerf-
tappingScrew(52). Insertthe excess cable and wire
intothe Updght.
Attach the Console(23) to the Upright(2) withfour
ConsoleScrews(59). Be careful to avoid pinching
the cable and wires.
Make sure the Resistance Knob (42) is set on the
lowest setting before proceeding to the next step.
5. While another personholdsthe Upright(2) In the posi-
tionshown, connect the consolewire to the Reed
Switch Wire (53).
Next, connectthe controlcable to the Resistance
Cable (43) in the followingway:.
• Refer todrawingA. Pullup on the metalbracket,and
insertthe tip ofthe control cable Intothe wire clipon
the ResistanceCable (43) as shown.
• Refer to drawingB. Firmly pullthe controlcable and
elide itintothe metal bracketon the Resistance
Cable (43) as shown.
• Refer to drawingC. Using pliers,squeezethe prongs
on the upper end of the metalbrackettogether.
Push the excess cable and wires downintothe Frame
(1). Insert the Upright(2) Intothe Frame. Do not pinch
the wires or cables. Secure the Uprightto the Frame
with two M10 x 74mm Bolts(7), twoM10 Split
Washers (45), and two M10 NylonLocknuts (33). Do
not tighten the Bolts yet.
