MEMORY BACKUP
Install the battery
1. Open the Battery Cover located on the bottom of the product.
2. Connect one 9V battery (not included) to the battery clip inside the battery compartment
3. Replace the battery cover.
This battery will maintain the actual time and alarm time in its memory during a power
outage, but will not display it on the Clock Display. Normal display and functions will
resume when the power is restored. We recommend checking and/or replacing the battery
every one to three months. If the battery is weak, replace it immediately. We recommend
the use of a good quality battery for maximum performance.
Do not dispose of battery in a fire as this constitutes an explosion hazard.
SWITCHING ON
Place your clock radio on a flat surface. Plug the AC Power Cord into the wall socket.
Please note that unless the "Power Back-up" DC9V battery has been installed, the clock
display will flash if the electrical power has been interrupted. If this happens, you will need
to reset the time and the alarm setting.
