WhatIsReverseOsmosis?
Reverseosmosis,alsoknownashyperfiltration,isamembranefiltrationprocessthatseparates
undesirablematerialsfromwaterbyusingpressuretoforcethewatermoleculesthrougha
semipermeablemembrane.Thisprocessiscalled"reverse"osmosisbecausethepressureforcesthe
watertoflowinthereversedirection(fromtheconcentratedsolutiontothedilutesolution)totheflow
direction(fromthedilutetotheconcentrated)intheprocessofnaturalosmosis.Reverseosmosisis
usedtopurifywaterandremovesaltsandotherimpuritiesinordertoimprovethecolor,taste,odor
and/orpropertiesofyourwater.R/Ofiltrationcanremoveupto99%ofmostcontaminantsincluding
arsenic,nitrates,radium,chromium,fluoride,anddissolvedsolidssuchassodium,calcium,iron,
