Key Guard
Thekey guard locks the phonekeys to preventa ccidental use. Ifyou receive
an incoming call when the key guard is on, you can still answer the call.
To turn the key guard on
■ Shortcut: Fromstandby mode,press andhold .T he lock indicator
and “KeyGuard On” displays.
To turn the key guard off
■ Press .
Scratchpad
Youcanenternumbersonthescratchpadtoadd to callhistory,saveto your
phone book, or send tones over the air for automated phone services, such
as voice mail or banking online. To add tocall history or save to yourphone
book, you can be on a call or in standby mode. To send tones, you must be
on a call.
To access the scratchpad
1. From standby mode, press menu.
2. Press for Features.
3. Press for Scratchpad.
4. Enter numbers.
5. Press options.
6. Press:
■ to AddToHist; the number is added to call history.
■ to Save to your ph one book (see Saving entries, page 16).
■ to Send Tones; the tones are immediately sent over the air.
