Field Description
PS Parameters Savable. Always set to 0.
SPF SubPage Format. Always set to 0. Indicates that this page uses the page_0 page format.
Page Code Identifies the type of
MODE SENSE page being transferred. A value of 19h identifies this
as the Port Control page.
Page Length Indicates the number of bytes in the page, excluding bytes 0 and 1.
Protocol
Identifier
A value of 0h indicates that this mode page applies to an FCP-2 port (see the Fibre
Channel Protocol – 2 (FCP–2) standard).
DTFD Disable Tape Drive Fabric Discovery. Always set to 0. The drive always recognizes a
fabric loop port if it is present.
PLPB Prevent Loop Port Bypass. Always set to 1. The loop port is always participating and
ignores all LPE and LPB primitives.
