8. Replace the terminal block cover.
9. If your rack has conductors for grounding or bonding of ungrounded
metal parts, connect the ground cable (not included) to the ground
bonding screw.
10. Plug the equipment to be protected into the appropriate UPS output
receptacles (see page 51 for more information on load segments).
NOTE DO NOT protect laser printers with the UPS because of the exceptionally high power
requirements of the heating elements.
NOTE Verify that the total equipment ratings do not exceed the UPS capacity to prevent an
overload alarm.
11. Verify that all load segment circuit breakers are in the ON position.
12. Remove the breaker tie from all battery circuit breakers.
