Thehearthshouldbeabletoaccommodatetheweightofthestoveandits
chimneyifthechimneyisnotindependentlysupported.Theweightofthestoveis
indicatedinthebrochure.
Thestoveshouldpreferablybeinstalledonanoncombustiblehearthofasizeand
constructionthatisinaccordancewiththeprovisionsofthecurrentBuilding
RegulationsApprovedDocumentJ.
Theclearancedistancestocombustiblematerialbeneath,surroundingoruponthe
hearthandwallsadjacenttothehearthshouldcomplywiththeguidanceonthe
separationofcombustiblematerialgiveninBuildingRegulationsApproved
DocumentJandalsointhesestoveinstructions.
If the stove is to be installed on a combustibl e floor surface, it must be covered
withanoncombustiblematerialatleast12mmthick,inaccordancewithBuildi ng
RegulationsApprovedDocumentJ,toadistanceof30cminfrontofthestoveand
15cmtoeachsidemeasuringfromthedoorofthecombustionchamber.
