Rancho Crossover Pipe Kit RS720003:

2016-2012 Jeep Wrangler JK with 3.6L

Prevents contact between the exhaust cross over pipe and front drive shaft for

2 – 5 in. lifted 16-12 Jeep Wranglers with 3.6L V6 engine.

During high articulation events, the front drive shaft may contact exhaust, transmission cross-member brace, or transmission oil pan. A

smaller diameter drive shaft is suggested for optimal performance. Rancho recommends Powertrain Industries drives shafts:

CROSSOVER PIPE FLANGE TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER BRACE FRONT CROSSOVER PIPE TO MUFFLER PIPE CLAMP CROSSOVER PIPE MUFFLER PIPE Illustration 1 WARNING – Do not attempt to cut exhaust while installed on vehicle; damage to oil pan, wiring and brake lines can result. 1) Park vehicle on a level surface. Set the parking brake and chock rear wheels. 2) Raise the front of the vehicle and support the frame with jack stands. 3) Raise the rear of the vehicle and support the frame with jack stands.

11) Install driver side section of cut crossover pipe on muffler pipe. Make sure crossover pipe is fully engaged on muffler pipe. 12) Line up flanges and loosely install flange bolts. Tighten crossover pipe to muffler pipe clamp. 13) Slide Rancho Exhaust Pipe onto cut end of driver side crossover pipe. Do not clamp. 14) Slide cut end of passenger side crossover pipe into Rancho Exhaust Pipe. 15) Line up flanges and loosely install flange bolts. 16) 17) Install and tighten supplied clamps.
