Sample Custom POI Location File
Using Commas and Spaces
When entering custom POI location information, each piece of information (like
latitude, longitude or name) is separated by a comma. When entering location
information, no space is allowed before or after the comma. Do not add a
comma after the last  eld in a row.
For example, when entering a latitude, longitude, and name:
Correct: -117.3-905,34.04998,Devil Dogs, (latitude/longitude known)
,,Devil Dogs, (latitude/longitude unknown)
Incorrect: -117.30905 , 34.04998 , Devil Dogs, 0 ,
Devil Dogs, , ,
Although spaces are not used before or after a comma, they are used within
each piece of information (such as name, address, etc).
Some examples are:
Home Depot (name)
999 Wicker Drive (address)
• West Virginia (state)
