Send Custom Locations File to Your TND
Note: You only need to load the  le once. Once loaded they remain on your
device until onto your TND. You do not have to repeat the process.
1. Turn the TND on.
2. Connect the TND to your computer using a USB cable.
3. Start TND Dock and select the Send Custom Locations to my TND
button.
4. Select the custom POI  le and follow the instructions to transfer it to your
TND
5. Turn o the TND.
6. Disconnect the device from your computer.
7. Plug the device into external power (either 12V or 120V).
IMPORTANT NOTE: For the fi rst time only, the TND MUST have
external power when started after the fi le has been transferred.
8. Turn the TND on.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT DISCONNECT YOUR TND OR TURN IT
OFF.
Once the updates are complete, the following screen shows the number of
Custom POI locations successfully added.
