4. First-aid measures
(a) Description of first aid measures
Inhalation:
Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of dusts or
decomposition products. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show
the label where possible). In case of irregular breathing or respiratory
arrest: Oxygen or artificial respiration, if needed. Call a physician
immediately.
Skin contact:
Wash off with soap and plenty of water. If skin irritation persists, call a
physician.
Eye contact:
Rinse with plenty of water immediately, also under the eyelids, for at
least 15 minutes. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
Ingestion:
Immediately give plenty of water (if possible charcoal slurry). Rinse
mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice.

tion. May cause irritation when contact with skin or eyes.
(c) Immediate medical attention and special treatment
Persons with pre

existing skin, eye, or respiratory disease may be at increased risk from the irritant
or allergic properties of this material. Attending physician should treat exposed patients
symptomatically.
5. Fire-fighting measures

(b) Special hazards arising from the chemical
In addition to the gaseous combustion products which occur from the reaction of organic materials
with oxygen, thick black smoke develops. In the event of a fire, the following substances may be
formed: carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2).
(c) Special protective equipment and precautions for fire-fighters
Firefighters must wear fire resistant protective equipment. Wear self
-
contained breathing apparatus.
