Unbolt the rear cross member bolts and remove.
Support the differential with a jack and unbolt the passenger side.
Carefully lower the differential from vehicle. Secure the differential to perform the modification.
Mark the differential, as shown, indicating material to be removed. Use a grinder to remove the material marked previously.

Unbolt the CV axle bolts at the differential.

Remove the drivers side mounting bolts and unplug the vent line.
