4Add!a!second!networking!device,!binding!it!to!another!physical!NIC!or!to!the!
hostonly!network.!For!information,!see!“A d d i n g !and!Modifying!Virtual!Network!
Adapters”.
5In!the!console,!verify!
that!both!virtual!machines!are!powered!off.
After!you!have!finished!creating!the!additional!nodes,!you!are!ready!to!configure!the!
cluster.
Configuring the Network Load Balancing Cluster
You!can!cluster!up!to!32!nodes!using!Network!Load!Balancing.
To configure the cluster for each node that joins the cluster
1 Connect!to!the!first!node!virtual!machine!with!the!VMware!Server!Console.
2Power!on!the!virtual!machine.
3Follow!the!Windows!minisetup!prompts!to!enter!the!following:
! The!Windows!serial!number
! The!host!name
! IP!addresses!for!that!host
4At!the!end!of!the!process,!Windows!reboots.
5Log!on!to!the!virtual!machine!as!the!Administrator!user.
6Open!Network!and!Dialup!Connections.
7Rightclick!the!local!area!connection!on!which!you!want!to!install!Network!Load!
Balancing!and!choose!Properties.
The!Local!Area!Connection!Properties!
dialog!box!appears.
