What you will need:
BUY YARN
These cup cozies are a great way to practice
your lace skills and make gifts at the same
time! Use your favorite color, they’ll look
great no matter what you choose.
Cozy measures 9” (23 cm) in
circumference and 3” (7.5 cm) high.
NOTE
To make cozy taller, repeat Rounds 5–7
as desired.
SPECIAL ABBREVIATION
Skp: Slip 1 stitch, knit the next stitch;
insert the left needle through the
slipped stitch and pass the slipped
stitch over the knitted stitch
COZY
Cast on 42 sts. Place marker and join to
work in the round, being careful not to
twist sts.
Rounds 1-4: *K1, p1; repeat from * around.
Round 5: *K1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skp, k1;
repeat from * around.
Round 6: Knit.
Round 7: *K2tog, yo, k3, yo, skp; repeat
from * around.
Round 8: Knit.
Rounds 9-11: Repeat Rounds 5-7.
Rounds 12-15: *K1, p1; repeat from *
around.
Bind off in k1, p1 ribbing.
FINISHING
With yarn needle, weave in all loose ends.
