Nod Function
Thenodfunctionallowsyoutomoveyourmodelhelicopterforwardsandbackwards(seegure11).Forthis,the
helicopter tail is equipped with an electric motor and a horizontal propeller. Depending on the rotational direction
ofthetailpropeller,thehelicoptertailispushedupwardsordownwards.Inhoveright,withthehelicopterstanding
horizontally, the tail propeller is not running.
Thisisalsocontrolledwiththerightcontrollever(alsoseegure1,item3).Ifyoupresstheleverslightlyforward,
thetailrisesandthemodeliesforwards.Ifyoupullthelevertowardstheback,thetaildropsandthemodelies
backwards.

tends to drift off in a particular direction.
Place yourself exactly behind your helicopter. As long as you can see your model from behind, it will react to the con-
trol commands: right, left, forward, backward exactly as you see it. Whereas, if the cockpit of the model points towards
you, it reacts exactly the opposite way from your steering commands at the transmitter.
Attention, important!
Do not pull the control lever for the pitch function back suddenly when the model helicopter is in the air. The
model would lose height too fast and hit the ground hard.
If the rotors hit any objects and are blocked or if the model falls over when standing, slide the pitch lever
into the bottom-most position at once so that the two drive motors are no longer supplied with power.
Nevertrygrabbingtheyinghelicopterwithyourhand.Thereisanincreaseddangerofinjury!
Toavoidharmfuldeepdischargeoftheightbattery,youneedtochargeitwithoutdelaywhenthehelicop-
ter loses altitude even though you keep pushing the control lever for the pitch function forward.
Givetheightbatteryenoughtimetocooloffbeforechargingitagain.
