11. Maintenance and Care
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions as these could damage the surfaces of the casings.
Important!
When replacing mechanical parts use only original spares available from the manufacturer. The spare parts
list is located on our website www.conrad.com in the download section for the respective product.
You can also order the replacement parts list by phone. For the contact data, please refer to the top of these
instructions in the chapter "Introduction".
a) Replacing the Rotor Blades
If the turning rotors hit an obstacle, parts of the rotor
blades may break off. In this case, replace the defective
rotor blades with genuine spare parts.
Attention!
Neverythemodelhelicopterwithdefectivero-
tor blades because the resulting vibrations may
cause greater damage to the model.
Observe the rotational direction of the rotor when replacing
the main rotor blades.
The rotor blades of the top rotor (1) turn clockwise and the
rotor blades of the lower rotor (2) turn counter-clockwise.
Do not overtighten the fastening screws of the rotor blade
retainers(alsoseegure6).
b) Replacing the Tail Propeller
If required, the tail propeller (1) can simply be pulled off of
the motor shaft upwards manually.
When putting on the replacement propeller, ensure that
the propeller is not skewed which would bend the motor
shaft (2).
Regularly check all screw connections of your helicopter
fortightt.Allmovingpartshavetobeeasilymovablebut
there should not be a clearance in the bearing.
